START PLANNING YOUR MARKET STRATEGY Start thinking about what you want your marketing to look like during these time and after. Once we come out of this pandemic, how do you want to market yourself? The one thing every business continues to need, especially if we end up in a recession is marketing. Digital marketing has exploded, making it easier to reach potential customers in a way that they enjoy. As Internet advertising has gone mainstream the types of online marketing at your fingertips have expanded exponentially. Be visible your target is to accomplish 6 primary marketing goals: -Increase brand awareness -Build an email subscriber list (so you can nurture leads in a more controlled environment) -Build a following on social media (optional, but advised) -Increase engagement with your brand (on social media or your website) -Make quick sales (works best in conjunction with the other goals) -Increase customer value (more up sells, purchase frequency, etc.) ORGANIZE YOURSELF Organize those papers, pantry drawers, old computer documents. Start with a clean slate. Maybe all your pens don't work but they're in the pen jar! Simple things to more constructive things, now is the time. The benefits of getting organized are endless: There’s less housework. Goals become clearer. There’s more space for things you love. You may even sleep better. Here are some organizing tips: Seek functionality over visual appeal. This is the best way to ensure you can stay organized. Organizing is about creating systems that cater to your needs, not just tidying up or putting things in piles. If you’re a visual person, label everything! How to determine if your clutter is, well, clutter Clutter is sometimes hard to recognize. We live in our houses day-in and day-out, where clutter becomes part of the landscape. We don’t recognize piles and groupings of stuff because it’s become the norm. We have gotten pretty good at ignoring clutter, or just plain not realizing it’s moved in. Treat your surfaces wisely The more surface space you have in your house, the more opportunity for clutter, because people feel entitled to put things down on it – even if that’s not where the item belongs. So take away extra furniture surface space if you can. LEARN SOMETHING NEW There are endless possibilities to learn, especially now a days where there are no limitations on your library card, or expirations dates. Again, the "online world" is designed for endless learning. Here is a list of some new stuff I have taken part of 1. @Audible - is a platform for audiobooks. Where you can learn when you walk, workout or just shower! 2. Instagram has had many "live" workout classes! I've enjoyed new moves and routines. 3. Youtube offers endless opportunities, I enjoyed a ten chapter course on photography. 4. Gardening, I've planted flowers, tomatoes, onions and kale while learning how to from YouTube. WRITE CONTENT There’s one simple thing that has the potential to absolutely destroy your blog/content before it ever gets an opportunity to succeed. Unfortunately, it is something that blog writers and business owners often overlook completely. I'm talking about the importance of choosing the perfect niche for your blog/content. So once you have that established. Authenticity is so important these days, and your readers will immediately make a judgement as to whether your content/blog is authentic or not. This is the foundation that everything else you are do is going to be built upon, and you need to make sure that your foundation is poured in concrete. REACH OUT TO LOVED ONES We are all on isolation, now is the time to tell that friend how much you love them To check in with that person you haven't had a chance to FaceTime with and all your dates keep canceling because of work. Here are 6 surprising ways to communicate better; as per " F. Diane Barth, L.C.S.W. a psychotherapist, teacher and author in private practice in New York City. 1. Make small talk 2. Don’t just ask about mundane experiences. Share them. 3. Listen carefully 4. Ask questions, and don’t assume that you know the answers 5. Talk about yourself, but don’t take all of the air. 6. Once you’ve become aware of some of the hidden shared moments you’re having with your partner, see if you can find ways to increase your daily amount of "insignificant" experiences together. DECLUTTER It’s amazing how much stuff we accumulate. I mean, really, how often do you wear that shirt, read those old piled up magazines, or play with that badminton set. Trust me, it’s a wild emotional roller coaster ride to declutter and organize. It’s sometimes sad to see sentimental things go, but I feel relaxed knowing that maybe someone else is enjoying them as much as I once did. It’s also refreshing to look around your house knowing that everything is in its place and you see clean lines and minimal stuff. Now let’s look at the steps it takes to organize:
Start this week with a grateful heart a positive mind and a smile on your face. The future is bright and we will all come out of this closer to the ones we love, wiser than ever before and we will no longer take for granted the gifts of life.
