Welcome to Zann Dental Lab's case submission guide. We're here to help you send cases accurately and efficiently so you get predictable turnaround and quality.

This page explains how to prepare your case, choose a submission method (digital or physical), use our pick-up schedule, package and ship correctly, and what to expect from our process from start to finish. We accept crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, night guards, sports guards, orthodontics, retainers, bleaching trays, and more.

Step-by-Step Case Submission

Prepare accurately, choose the right submission method, use our pickup schedule when needed, and ship/package properly so we can process your case without delay.

Prepare Your Case

Before you submit, gather everything so nothing is missing when we receive your case or files.

  • Patient information: full name, age,any medical concerns, and appointment date
  • Completed Prescription form: tooth numbers, materials, shade, and special imstructions.
  • Digital files: intraoral scans (STL/PLY) and bite registration where required.
  • Physical models/impressions: label patient name + tooth numbers, and pack securely.
Tip: Double-check tooth numbers and shade before sending.

Digital Submission

Use our secure portal to upload scans and attach the prescription form.

  • Upload all files in one submission for a complete set.
  • Attach the prescription form (PDF or image) for material, shade, and notes.
  • Supported formats: STL, PLY, OBJ. Contact us if your file format differs.

Physical Submission (Pickup Available)

Choose pickup or drop-off based on what works best for your clinic.

  • Call to arrange pickup time. We confirm the window and requirements.
  • Have the case ready at the agreed time.
  • Use clear labeling (patient name + restoration type) so the case is identifiable.
  • Prefer drop-off? Bring it during business hours.

Send It Complete

Proper labeling and complete information help us process your case without delay.

  • Label everything clearly: patient name, tooth numbers, restoration type.
  • Include the prescription form inside the package.
  • One package per case (or per clearly labeled patient package) to avoid mix-ups.

Choose the pickup window that matches your case timing. We offer GTA options, Saturday pickups, and shipping outside GTA or internationally.

Complimentary Same-Day Pickup (Mon-Fri)
  • No pickup fee within GTA
  • Cases must be ready at pickup time
02:00 PM - 05:00 PM
Next-Day Scheduled Pickup (Mon-Fri)
  • Pickup windows: 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:00 PM
Anytime (Mon-Sun)
Uber Courier Pickup
  • Available anytime staff can meet the driver
  • Uber fee billed to the case

Same-day cutoff: 12:00 PM

  • Cases logged/requested between 12 PM and 3 PM Saturday
  • Scheduled for Monday pickup

Proper packaging protects your case in transit and helps us process it quickly. Follow these guidelines whether you use pickup or ship it yourself.

Reminder: One package per case helps avoid mix-ups and speeds up intake.

We work with standard/express couriers and international carriers so you can choose the right speed. When you ship (or when we arrange pickup), you'll get confirmation and tracking where applicable.

At the lab

Case Processing & Updates

After we receive your case, we review the prescription and models/digital files and move them through our workflow. If anything is unclear, we'll reach out to avoid delays.

Quality

Quality Check & Delivery

Every case goes through quality control before it leaves the lab. We verify fit, finish, and shade consistency so the restoration meets our standards.
